Hi, I’m Clara Zawawi.

I’m a communications specialist with a long and varied career and equally varied interests, both of which have taken me to the furthest reaches of the globe.

Born in India and moving to Australia at the age of 14 was just the start of my intercultural experiences.

‌After 11 years as an academic teaching Communications and Public Relations; becoming a mother; co-authoring the defining PR text used throughout South East Asia and being appointed the youngest Fellow of the PRIA I re-entered the industry as a consultant.

As a PR consultant, I worked in Australia; Indonesia; Malaysia; Oman; Dubai, and Abu Dhabi …

In tourism management, I founded and ran Oman’s leading marine tourism company Ocean Blue Oman.

During the pandemic, I created and cooked for my pan-Asian takeaway; and deepened my knowledge of Pilates, qi gong and yoga. I also began to study kung fu; especially the dao or broadsword…

Coaching emerged as the logical way to bring together the threads of this rich and varied life

Through coaching, I discovered positive psychology and neuroscience. In my characteristic deep dive I bring this knowledge; and combine it with my communications and cultural expertise and my commitment to my personal development to create a uniquely effective coaching experience.

I look forward to walking some of the way with you on your journey.
