I’m a communications specialist with a long and varied career and equally varied interests, both of which have taken me to the furthest reaches of the globe.
Born in India and moving to Australia at the age of 14 was just the start of my intercultural experiences.
After 11 years as an academic teaching Communications and Public Relations; becoming a mother; co-authoring the defining PR text used throughout South East Asia and being appointed the youngest Fellow of the PRIA I re-entered the industry as a consultant.
First based in Australia and working in Indonesia, New Zealand, and Malaysia I moved to Oman in 2005, founding my own tourism company and working there and in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for the next 15 years.
